FFE D3D

FFE D3D is an exciting new project from Russia, which is re-writing a lot of the FFE code from scratch. As the screenshot shows, the graphics are much enhanced, even when compared to GLFFE which itself was a huge step up from JJFFE

This new version is principally being worked on by DreamZzz but with numerous contributions by various other coders

The project is currently in the Beta phase and much work is being done on - among other things - the re-modelling of the cities, planets and ships. Even at this stage FFE D3D is turning out to be the definitive FFE experience
