Flight
I do not understand with the flights and the buttons!
I'll try it as easy as possible to formulate: The flight between two systems is a hyperspace flight. This can not be interrupted when it has been started.
The flight within a system is a normal flight, or flight in a normal room. The can be interrupted, where you can start as the flight to another destination. these two types of flights are completely independent. applies further: to start a flight, the destination must be pre-registered (in the on-board computer). In the original version was: Menu items "systems" and "stations" have a goal, and the menu item "flight" (the red buttons there) then starts the flight. That's true now, but it is also possible directly from the menu items "systems" and "stations" equal with one keystroke to enter the destination and start the flight, with the (colored) buttons that are there. One can first fly to a system, and if you ended up in the system, see which station is closest. But if you want to make a longer break online, you can even choose a station in hyperspace. Then, right after you leave the hyperspace, the station targeted (and, if docked).
What are hyperspace-clouds?
To get from one system to another, you have to hyperspace (or hyperspace) fly. The fly also takes time. During this time, while you are in hyperspace, two hyperspace clouds form (or hyperspace clouds). A start in the system, and the target system. You can see these clouds of other ships under "Objects." With the hyperspace cloud analyzer you can see how big the ship was (or is), the arrival or departure time, and destination or starting system. These data are shown under "Objects" and "mark" if you have installed in such an analyzer.
If I want to start a flight, it says "You can not leave without the proper manpower"!
As mentioned in Section 3.3.1.6 described, require ships above a certain size a crew. The crew can be hired in the menu item market-bar. If there regrettable, no one is looking for a job, you have two options:
You buy a smaller ship that requires less crew members. You wait, and always looks to the bar, if there is someone.
My ship is flying faster than light!
Under the menu item "flight" can be seen below the position of the vessel, and also in the last column the speed. This speed is given in km / s or AE / s. By these data rates, which are greater than 300,000 km / s (about light) appear.
The game is programmed so that some time has between the online-phase (for themselves). This time is approximately 1-2 hours. This means that the flight of a ship when it flies from one station to another station (in another system), is supposed to last 1-2 hours. In this flight, but is also the Flight outdoor space included, so the flight "cross" through a system. So that the ship arrives in time, it must then fly faster than the speed of light. Therefore the realism of the game is not entirely lost, three possible explanations, as you can imagine:
The time is compressed. One second the game is one minute (or longer) in reality. Therefore, the previously used in-game unit "km / m" (kilometers per minute) came. The path is compressed. One kilometer in the game is one meter in reality. The speed of light is higher. Thus, the speeds shown are plausible. The flight between systems is already faster than light. For this purpose, the whole spacecraft is transported into hyperspace, where the travel speed is much higher than the speed of light. However, this method of travel requires extremely accurate calculations, so for example, can not be flown directly in front of a station because of computational inaccuracy. The smallest deviation could already lead to land in a planet instead of in front of a station. Therefore, the General Space Agency has these trips allowed only for interstellar trips. Nowadays, the drives are already built so that only interstellar journeys in hyperspace are possible.
Increasing driving class is also the interplanetary flight faster?
No. The Interplanetary drive is included in a Hyper Drive, but is still a stand-alone drive, which is not dependent on the Hyperdrive class, but is adapted to the type of vessel. Therefore, the type of vessel-dependent accelerations in free space, which does not depend on the drive rating produce. A high Machines skill can increase the pace but.
I should dock at a station, but I am flown by?
This can occur when the CPU is subject to high load. Then, only a limited number of events (activities) to be processed, and then it can happen that events are processed too late. The consequence would be that one in a station crosses through it (or lands there, but not docked). You can recognize this even if the "flight" a negative velocity appears (old). request, in this case, NOT again on "flight to the station" button (not even other airlines start as "attacking" or "way")! But just wait a bit, usually it's only a short time, when something like this happens. The flight to the station is not the only event, as it may happen that in the past, arrives in a system, but still nothing under "Objects" looks. In all cases, just wait a bit, and then look again! The time for mission deadlines is not affected.
I wanted to fly a ship, but I am suddenly 20 AU from my starting position away?
If one flies to a ship that one you ever flies to, then come out as a coordinate (almost) random numbers. If that's the case, you can see that if you type "objects" often suppressed, and always watch where you are. Because really come out random numbers, and if one stops the flight then (either "stop" or other objective), then you will stop at random numbers. So it can happen that you are flying within a few seconds 20 AE in a system. Then come back, can take up to an hour. Therefore, it is rather dangerous if you do that.
What determines actually the time required for charging the wrap inducers
A Wrap Inducer has a certain energy flow per hour and a maximum capacity see 3.9 The wrap-drive . An inductor class I with 12:02 flow and 1 capacity so requires 50 hours until it is fully charged. An inductor with 0.5 Class VI River and 25 capacity requires the same time. That is unless you consumed by flying more energy to invite all inducers in 50 hours once fully on. It should be noted that only the inductors are loaded can also be operated with the Manschaftsmaschineneskill.
