Designed by Ramon Security Limited to complement their Deamon Class Cruiser, the Scorpion was built on the principle that size counts. Although it is a similar size to, and masses slightly greater than, a Python, it is swifter and more maneouvrable, thanks to military-grade engines, thrusters and power cores. The vertical panels are in fact retractable flight surfaces for use within planetary atmospheres. This betrays one of the Scorpion's purposes. With enhanced shielding across it's hull and intrinsic damping systems controlling the harmonics caused by the engines, the Scorpion can make orbit-to-surface landings. A very handy quality that is put to good use by the Guardians of Order, the callous but fearsomely effective military commandoes trained and deployed by the Eszausveian Dictatorship.
