Overview
"More of these dependable workers travel the spaceways than any other ship type. Scows place cargo capacity above all else."
The scow is a fine little ship for traders on a budget. Widespread (and cheaper) alternative to Cobra mk I.
The Scow has precious few uses outside its niche as a budget Trader.
Known variants
Standard (stats in the infobox are for this version)
- Almost all Scows are traders
- Some desperate individuals try to be space pirates while flying a Scow
As this ship is so widespread among beginners and traders with less than stellar economical success, lots of second hand Scows are for sale in various shipyards. Poorly maintained ones usually end in less advanced systems and have slightly deteoriated performance with looks to match.
SE
Someone with more money than sense has built several "Special Edition" Scows with much enhanced combat capabilities and full equipment compability (at the expense of cargo space) for bounty hunting purposes.
More advanced shipyards may have these for sale.
It is even possible that a couple of these "SE" variants have fallen into pirate hands, so beware!
