Overview

The Anguis Primus, as seen in the novel of the same name by Ryan Hoots, is a powerful ship. Not much is known about this ship, except it is very fast at .5 LM. The Anguis was made to be a pirate ship, but the prototype went missing from its builder's lair, and found by Anna Richardson.

Nowadays, the ship can be found very rarely in the hands of pirates. With fore and aft military lasers, they are a formidable opponent. The one catch is that they carry no missiles, as all the inside space has been converted for maximum speed.

Development

The Anguis Primus was built by Maximus Malum, a pirate gang leader, and designed to be a pirate vessel. The ship was constructed using several damaged Krait fighters, along with plans for a fast engine designed by Koneko Industries that can go .5 LM. The ship has military lasers, high-power shields, and eight energy banks. It was made to be a fighter, so cargo space is limited at 2 TC, with a 15 ton extension possible.
