When the war between the felines and the insects took place in 1117KD, the insects bombarded Ataneris, and tens of millions were killed. The bird and frog alliance then intervened in 1118KD and whilst preventing the felines from crossing into galaxy 7 to succour the Atanerians, also forced the insects away from the beleaguered felines, enabling both sides to eventually make peace.
