I have returned (after a year-long hiatus) to Oolite in Dec 2013 with loads of ideas. This time, however, I have some experience with programming gained in 2013.

Here are some of my small contributions. All of them can be gotten from my Dropbox.


Frontier Style Equipment

An OXP which adds a great feature from FFE that I felt was missing in *lite. Basically, most combat equipment takes up cargo space. Scanners, HUD elements and the like do NOT take up space as opposed to Frontier. Ship max cargo values have been adjusted upwards accordingly, taking into account the fact that some equipment from Frontier doesn't exist at all in Oolite.

Prices/used up space/descriptions and the like are subject to change based on player feedback.

Real Life Time

An OXP which takes an old code courtesy of another_commander and makes real life time (that is dd-month-yyyy) display on the F5-F5 screen. May need some further tweaking to better account for adjustments and to refresh more often.

Standard start date is 21st March 3142 to match Selezen's timeline, although this can be easily adjusted.
