Overview
Abbreviation SM-1 comes from "Standard Missile 1", new missile designed by FAr Arm shipyards for the Galactic Navy.
SM-1 missile is slightly faster than the traditional HM3 and HMX5 missiles, it carries also a more powerful warhead.
New cybernetics package makes SM-1 resistant to ECM, but not totally immune.
Due to increasing Thargoid threat, GalCop has released these missiles to civilian market.
SM-1 costs 250 Cr each, and is available at shipyards of TL 7 and above.
