Origin

If you want to get to the outer systems in G2 then chances are you're going to be traversing The Red Line Stars. That is, if you don't have the insurance to risk Kob's Ladder or have the time to spend an extra few cycles going "over the top" via Esdi.

This loose grouping of mainly communist worlds (with the odd corporate state, democracy, confederacy and splintered nation) have grown very rich, technically advanced and powerful through the control of trans-system trade. Sandwiched between two navy sector stations of Texebi and Atzaxe, the Red Line can call on significant muscle in the event of any space borne issue.
