Overview

First manufactured in 2981, by Outworld Workshops, there is no denying the comforts available to a pilot inside an Ophidian Class Yacht, and few who fly them do. Though the ship enjoys little outspoken respect among experienced spacefarers, quite a few secretly consider to, and often do, trade in their ship for an Ophidian upon reaching the twilight years of their careers.

Suitable to moderate trading activities, pleasant to pilot and capable of decent speed, an owner's main grievance is its insufficient shields. To take one's mind off this, there is the Zero-G jacuzzi, 5S entertainment system, and a GourmetDroid.

Oldships 2010 version

The Oldships 2010 comes in two colors. The Red and the Blue. There's no difference between these two versions in performance.

Notable Features

This type of vessel was flown by Jason Ryder, father of Alex Ryder and Elite combateer in Robert Holdstock's The Dark Wheel novella. This vessel's registry name was the 'Avalonia'.
