The Snapper was the first super heavy hauler to come off Mandotech's scaffolds. It was built with one thing in mind, cargo hauling. With room enough for 760 tons of cargo, this ship is a major step in business for the serious trader. While the max speed isn't high, the huge power plants produce the energy needed for 5 energy banks. The energy recharge rate is a bit lower, though, so sticking around for a dog fight is not really the best decision in the "Fight or Flee" of the shipping lanes. The Snapper does have a fuel scoop, but it's slower speed makes refueling runs to a System Sun prohibitive. Overall, this is a heavy duty hauler, and can many times be seen with SunBat escorts in it's wake.
