Griff's Other OXPs
Dodo Stations OXP by Griff and CaptKev (1.4Mb).
Retextured Dodecahedron stations OXP, v1.1. Updated version released 18th May 2010, Griff has fixed a problem with the shaders.
Flying Dutchman OXP (31.0Kb).
Featuring Griff's Wireframe Cobra.
Adds the small chance to meet a Ghost Ship in the Ooniverse. What is it? Some claim that it's the ghost of Commander Peter Jameson, reported lost at the end of the last Thargoid War, others that it is simply a manifestation of all those lost souls who were trapped in the trackless depths of interstellar space. One common story is the trail of bad luck and hideous deaths that follow in the wake of the ship's sightings...
Griff's ArcElite (201.2 Kb).
Adds all the ships from the Acorn Archimedes version of Elite, textured & shaded to resemble how they originally appeared in that version of the game.
Version 2.0 adds extra ships from Elite 'A', Elite 2 and the Amiga version of Elite
Griff's Boa OXP (2.7Mb).
Wiki link containing the famous Griff Boa, as featured in the "Oolite - It's not just for triangles anymore" images. Note: the Boa is not included in the Normalmapped Ships OXP as above. Note also that this OXP only works on Oolite 1.74 and higher.
Griff's Alloys & Wreckage OXP (1.5mb).
Box.com link to an OXP for Oolite v1.75 and higher that adds a new models & texture for the 'Alloys'. The OXP also generates extra clouds of burning wreckage whenever ships explode. This OXP was updated on 24th March 2013 for more compatibility with the Griff Normalmapped Ships, Replacement version, and should be used in preference to the old Griff's Explosion Debris OXP.
Griff's Krait OXP (2.5Mb).
A heavily modified Krait, similar in design to the Griff Boa. Note: the Krait is not included in the Normalmapped Ships OXP as above.

The Ateslete system in galaxy 7 is reasonably noted for the ice-world, Stymphal. The well known robotics company, Griff Research Ltd, operates factories over most of the planet and maintains an orbital research station near Stymphal.
The company was originally founded to produce droids and other artificial life forms, enjoying much success winning the coveted “Which Droid?” award for a decade. Perhaps their most famous design was the Robotic Cargo Loader which is still in service in all sectors. In recent years the company has diversified into building high specification ships and stations to order. Examples of their known designs include providing the Bank of the Black Monks of St Herod with a fearsome armed orbital platform and the Holy Avenger Mark II Tri-Laser Gunship.
The company's main ship design work is however highly classified, their most regular client being the Galactic Navy. Griff Research Ltd has constructed several Frigate Class vessels for the Navy, in addition to new types of weapons. No further details are available, although it is rumored that the Company is returning to its roots as a robotics company, in a current design brief.
