Some wonder why the Gal Cop has not replaced the [[Viper_(Oolite)|Viper]] class fighter with TIEs, but the most credited answer is that "No Gal Cop pilot will ever accept to stay cramped into an exotic soda can".<br />

The complete lack of cargo leaves this ship relegated to escort duties, with the exception of some, possibly insane, bounty hunters.<br />
